To the community and patrons of Pawhuska Public Schools:

On behalf of the school district community, board of education, and administration, we extend our gratitude to the community of Pawhuska for your support during the work stoppage.  Yesterday the PEA (Pawhuska Education Association) reached consensus with administration and the board of education to begin classes on Monday, April 16.

We want to thank our faculty for their tireless efforts, daily trips to the capitol, and sharing information with the community and staff as they have advocated for Oklahoma education funding.  The impassioned advocacy our teachers displayed over the last ten days has been unbelievable.

School will be in session on Monday, April 16.  The following schedule will begin:

Indian Camp:

8:15 a.m. to 4:20 p.m.

Elementary School:

8:05 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Junior High and High School:

8:05 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Beginning Monday, the morning bus routes will remain the same pickup time and the afternoon routes will be adjusted to one hour later.  Our staff and faculty have appreciated the patience and support shown to them by our parents and patrons as they advocated for the children of this school district.
